ASANTech Pro NVR is a scalable, high performance Network Video Recorder (NVR) suitable for video surveillance applications of all sizes. It allows for video storage in H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG format, thus optimising the required network bandwidth, be it from analogue-, IP-, or megapixel cameras. The versatile use of camera images makes ASANTech Pro an intelligent, effective and easy-to-use NVR.

Efficient network use
The ASANTech Pro supports MPEG-4 and H.264 video compression for both recording and monitoring. Additionally, the NVR supports the motion detection on cameras, which results in additional savings in the network bandwidth. The video is transferred only when there is motion in the camera view area. This is important especially when using megapixel cameras.

Performance and versatility
ASANTech Pro NVR is highly scalable with up to 48 simultaneously recording cameras. The user interface is accessed using an Internet browser, without any client software. The cameras can be grouped into convenient surveillance views, or displayed individually. The surveillance views may hold cameras in various user-defined grids, or be organised as automatically alternating surveillance view sequences. Footage encryption is also supported using the AES algorithm.

Intelligent usability
The control of contact outputs is organised in its own panel on the user interface. Informative map views can be built using active camera icons, enabling the quick opening of the appropriate, real-time camera windows for, e.g., PTZ camera control. Possible network failures are indicated on the map’s camera icon. Detailed user permissions are set to user profiles, and user activity is logged into log files for activity tracing.
